Within the scope of the EEC Sea Knowledge and Economy Cluster, eight anchor projects have been identified that overall total an investment estimation of almost 71 million euros over the next three years. They are:

• Ecomare | Project with an investment of around 4.8 million Euros, which accounts for about 6.8% of the overall amount of the anchor projects in terms of investment.
• Parque de Ciência e Tecnologias do Mar da Universidade do Porto | Project with an investment of around 4.4 million euros, which accounts for about 6.2% of the overall amount of the anchor projects in terms of investment.
• Consupesca
• Panthalassa | Project with an investment slightly above one million euros, which accounts for about 1.5% of the overall amount of the anchor projects in terms of investment.
• Novo Terminal do Porto de Leixões | Project with an investment of about 49.8 million euros, which accounts for about 70% of the total amount of the anchor projects in terms of investment.
• Centro de Mar de Viana do Castelo | Project with an investment of about 9.9 million euros, which accounts for about 14% of the total amount of anchor projects in terms of investment.
